Hourly Rate: $20.00+ DOE

Employment Type: Year round

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Rotator will be perform shipping, receiving, or inventory functions. In general, the shipping rotator is responsible for moving materials within the plant using forklift, walker, or hand jack. It may include raw product or finished goods. Shipping rotator is in charge of adhering to proper product rotation and flow procedures in the plant. Also, for all documents and procedures related to this function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As per our code date, ensure that all finished product in the cold room is rotated
  • For accounting purposes, turn in all pallet tags to the gatekeeper
  • Ensure that all pallets entering the warehouse are properly stacked, palletized, and have a Famous Tag ID
  • Organize and stack all partials correctly based on code dates, product, and Famous IDs
  • Keep the cold room clean and organized, and adhere to the 18-inch perimeter requirement
  • Must be able to handle product bins & drums
  • On a daily basis, manage multiple tasks
  • As safety and mechanical issues arise, communicate them
  • Complete daily forklift inspection reports

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Examine powered jacks/trucks for proper operation and safety
  • Adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and all other True Leaf’s policies
  • Complete all documentation needed for the function being performed
  • As needed, communicate with assistant/supervisors, clerks, production and QA
  • Standing, walking, stooping/bending for prolonged period of time
  • Be able to carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in wet and cold environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required
  • A minimum of one year forklift operator experience
