Inventory Parts Clerk

Hourly Rate: $18.85+ DOE

Location: San Juan Bautista, CA

Employment Type: Year round


GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Conduct daily accurate counts to assure that our inventory integrity is at a high level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Issue requested parts to authorized Maintenance, Packaging, and Facility staff.
  • Accurate computer inputting of issued parts.
  • Accurate receiving of inventory and requested parts.
  • Accurate and completion of Daily Sign-out sheets.
  • Follow up on all inventory discrepancies.
  • Relocating of Inventory parts as needed.
  • Clear accurate commutation with purchasing staff / maintenance.
  • Keep Parts Clerk Reference Binder current.
  • Pick up/ deliver parts, supplies, vehicles, equipment as requested.
  • Keep office, parts containers, Inventory key secure when away from area.
  • Assisting in coordinating and leading tasks related to transition
  • Assisting with delivery of parts for other department

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver License (required)
  • Inventory control: 1 year (Required)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), web-based applications
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times, assisting customers promptly and conducting all business in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Travel/relocate to our various processing location

  • Work onsite and meet position’s attendance schedule, as required by the job
