Inventory Clerk

Location: San Juan Bautista, CA & Yuma, AZ
Reports to: Inventory Systems Supervisor
SUMMARY: Conduct daily accurate counts to assure that our inventory integrity is at a high level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS REQUIRED:
- Communicate all issues that happen in inventory to supervisor.
- Cold Room Organization
- Conduct ACCURATE counts at all times.
- Investigate all discrepancies in inventory.
- Conduct cycle counts and be able to identify if product is being "handled."
- Fill out daily cold room reports and issue to shipping lead.
- Investigate all dumps.
- Track all damaged cartons.
- Follow up on all returned cartons.
- Re-print and/ or correct any missing/ mislabeled pallet tags.
- Stack pallets according to inventory report.
- Conduct inventory adjustments on daily basis if necessary.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma required
- A minimum of one (I) year forklift operator experience
WORK ENVIORMENT: Work environment consists of regular exposure to a refrigerated food manufacturing facility with very cold temperatures (34-36 degrees F); routine exposure to the smell of chlorine, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noises; occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions; regular exposure to an indoor, environmentally controlled business office; occasional exposure to an indoor, not environmentally controlled warehouse.
