Gatekeeper Lead

Department: Gatekeeper

Reports To: Inventory Manager

Pay Range: $22.50

Location: San Juan Bautista, CA & Yuma, AZ

Shift: Night

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Gatekeeper Lead must make sure that all In-puts and Outputs transactions are reconciled with the daily runs and insure a Gatekeeper covers all lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make sure that all in-puts and out-puts are entered into each run
  • Verify the production pallet tag and the actual pallet are the same.
  • Make sure that the Famous tag is printed and placed on the pallet.
  • Reconcile all documents and system entries throughout the shift.
  • Make sure the outputs from the gatekeeper reporters are received in a timely matter
  • Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisor.
  • Must report all tags into designated production run separated by variety as well as lines.
  • Enter tag #'sin designated run for both reporting and depleting purposes.
  • Make sure that all lunches and breaks are covered for gatekeepers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Required: High School Diploma. Required: 3 years or more working in the agricultural industry.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software. Experience and proficiency in database software a plus, Proficient in Famous required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Team player who will exceed assigned responsibilities and assist others to reach objectives
  • Native intellectual curiosity and mental stamina
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to travel/relocate as required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
